<Key Responsibilities>
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Korea’s construction market trends and business goals.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Integrate market insights into product strategies and development processes to ensure relevance and competitiveness.
Brand and Product Management:
- Strengthen brand positioning in Korea’s construction sector through innovative and impactful campaigns.
- Effectively communicate product value propositions to applicators, dealers, architects, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee product launches, go-to-market strategies, and portfolio enhancements based on market feedback and performance metrics.
Digital and Traditional Marketing:
- Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns using both digital and traditional channels to engage construction professionals.
- Leverage analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize performance, and refine strategies for maximum ROI.
Public Relations and Communication:
- Lead PR initiatives to enhance brand visibility and reputation within Korea’s construction industry.
- Develop and implement communication strategies tailored to the unique needs of the market and target audience.
Team Leadership and Budget Management:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Manage marketing budgets to ensure optimal resource allocation and return on investment.
Business Development Strategy:
- Define and execute overall business development strategies to drive market growth and leadership.
- Analyze market potential for new products and develop entry strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
- Formulate strategies to deter new market entrants and strengthen competitive positioning.
- Develop tools and frameworks for market forecasting to support long-term planning and decision-making.
Process Leadership and Management:
- Oversee strategic review exercises and commercial performance planning.
- Lead the development of business plans, investment requests, and launch files for new products and services.
- Manage new product development processes, including segmentation analysis, positioning, pricing, branding, and promotional strategies.
- Drive the development of new systems, including benchmarking, certification, and maintaining relationships with government bodies.
- Provide technical assistance, including product demonstrations, customer training, and claims resolution support.
<Qualifications/Experiences>
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, architectural engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Over 15 years of senior marketing and sales experience, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Fluency in both Korean and English is required.
- Proven expertise in brand building, product management, and go-to-market strategies.
- General knowledge of planning, product development, sales management, and managerial accounting.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: marketing, sales, or technical service, with a working knowledge of the others.
- Proven track record of managing projects and teams, delivering results on time and within budget.
- In-depth understanding of company activities, market dynamics, and traditional sales practices in Korea.
